"Swing into Spring". A swinging good time at Calgary's iconic jazz venue, featuring classic big band songs, vocals and instrumentals.
Come see the Wednesday Night Big Band (WNBB) at Ironwood Stage and Grill in Calgary on March 30, 2025.

We are featuring on vocals both Wendy Lomnes and Russell Moore. Wendy is an all-time favourite with jazz-fans in Calgary, and with the Wednesday Night Big Band. Russell is a third generation Calgarian who grew up performing with the Young Canadians. His entertainment career led him to Las Vegas where he performed at the legendary Dunes and Stardust Hotels. He went on to perform at Harrah's in Atlantic City and at Disneyland.
Our instrumentals feature arrangements by David Prentice and Larry Schrum.

Hello friends. In case you've forgotten, we're at Dickens on Wednesday at 7:30PM. But have you heard? We're going to be joined by the Razzamajazz big band!
It's going to be fun, we're going to alternate sets with them. We love playing with other bands!
